Arusha Nation Park,Manyara,Tarangire,Serengeti & Ngorongoro

Starting off with Arusha National Park the home to notably different coloured lakes named Momella and the 3km wide Ngurdoto Crater you will proceed to Manyara National Park where you will witness the tree climbing lions, astonishing variety of birds, and wallowing hippos you will proceed to Tarangire which is known for it's Savannah plains, the immense herds of elephants amounting to 300 and migratory wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, impala, gazelle, hartebeest and eland crowding the shrinking lagoons of river Tara marks the start of your four days safari expedition. There after you will proceed to Serengeti then Ngorongoro Crater allowing you to see the diverse topography and wildlife that East Africa offers. Making your way from the rim of the crater to Serengeti through the adventurous roads of the hollowed-out Ngorongoro, while seeing animals, birds, and reptiles along the way. You will come close to the Maasai culture as you will pass by one of their bomas have a time to see the huts try their garments and experience the culture.

Day One (1): Arusha to Arusha National Park

Tourist(s) will commence the Northern Circuit Safari by traveling to Arusha National Park. The game drive will travel along the shores of Lake Momella and through the bronzed bush where the Ngurduto Crater Buffaloes, waterbucks, giraffes, warthogs, zebras and Gazelle reside throughout the year. The elusive leopards and elephants tend to be shy at Arusha but there is a chance of spotting them. Renowned for flawless memories, the Northern Circuit Safari offers more than the most exquisite game drives. Education and exploration are on the agenda, we will set out on foot. The stroll is a chance to feel the sensation Africa’s vibrant pulse through the soles of your feet and experience the bush at its core. You will be accompanied by an armed ranger for the walk. He will guide you through the luscious forest up to the crystal waterfall and lead you to the area for viewing the black and white colobus monkeys. After late afternoon proceed back to Arusha

Day Two (2): Arusha National Park to Tarangire National Park to Mto wa Mbu

How about this? The Tarangire National Park is a scenic haven that contains a high diversity of bird species. The African elephant is the largest mammal on land and the herds in the park are a remarkable sight. Tarangire's wildlife includes elephants, lions, giraffes, warthogs, ostriches, impalas, cheetah, mongoose, buffaloes, and baboons. We will drive to Mto wa Mbu and reach in the late afternoon. Day Three (3): Mto wa Mbu to Serengeti National Park

You will continue your journey to Serengeti National Park. It contains the world's largest concentration of wildlife including zebra, gazelles, lions, wildebeest, elephants and giraffe. The seasonal migration of the masses of wildebeest is a magnificent sight. Serengeti means 'The Land that Moves on Forever' and the splendid plains of savannah validate this. We will stop for lunch on a kopje (rock outcropping) and then the game drive will journey further into the park. Once the game drive is over we will proceed to the Serengeti where an appetizing dinner and overnight will be provided.

Day Four (4): Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Crater

On this day, our early morning game drive is exhilarating. The calls of the animals are clear and scents of crisp air linger. Tracks left by predators on the prowl are untouched and could lead us to their den. The splendid rays of orange, pink and purple start to emerge on the horizon as the birds’ melodies begin to harmonize. The park is home to leopards, cheetahs, buffaloes, elands, wild dogs, crocodiles, monkeys, baboons, hippos, rhinos and various antelope. A delicious lunch will be served at the park. In the afternoon, we will drive you to the Ngorongoro Crater rim.

Day Five (5): Ngorongoro Crater to Lake Manyara National Park

On this fifth day, we will drive to the Ngorongoro Crater early in the morning. We will have a scrumptious picnic lunch and go on a game drive. The large amount of wildlife as well as the fauna and flora are traits that attribute towards the title of ‘Africa’s Garden of Eden’. Due to the lofty structure, few animals migrate in and out of the crater, so there is a big chance of seeing every member of ‘The Big 5’ in one day. You could also encounter vultures, zebra, hippo, wildebeest and hyenas. The alkaline lake attracts flamingos, geese and storks. Our dedicated, skilled, and experienced guides will ensure that you discover all the glorious wonders of nature in your tour. Explore Ngorongoro. We will drive to Lake Manyara and they will provide dinner and overnight.

Day Six (6): Lake Manyara National Park to Arusha

On this day’s tour, more attractive treats are in store for you! Extending for miles along the emerald base of the gold flecked Rift Valley escarpment, Lake Manyara National Park can only be described as an array of vistas. Giraffes that are so dark in coloration, they appear to be black from a distance and the tree climbing lions roam the savannah plains. Monkeys cling to the canopies of the forest whilst the hippos disguise themselves in the waters of the soda lake. With over four hundred species, Lake Manyara is a birdwatcher’s delight and attraction. Discover some of the wildlife includes buffalo, zebras, wildebeest, mongoose, klipspringer and bushbuck. A lovely picnic lunch will be served in the park and after the game drive. We will drive back to Arusha. This Northern Circuit safari will surely make you plan for a future repeat trip.

Day of departure:Transfer to the Kilimanjaro Airport.

    Big Migration Safari

    What should you expect on this safari? On this 6-day lodge safari you will visit the Tarangire National Park, the Ngorongoro Crater and the Serengeti National Park. Watching thousands of wildebeests and zebras crossing the grassland savannah is an experience to behold and surely one of Africa’s natural wonders. In order to increase your chances of witnessing the Great Migration, we choose your route and the order of camps according to your time of travel.

    Day One (1) Arusha to Tarangire National Park

    After meeting your safari guide in the morning, you hit the road in your 4×4 Toyota Land Cruiser and drive to the Tarangire National Park. An extensive open savannah, baobab trees, seasonal swamps and the life-giving Tarangire River characterize the landscape of this beautiful national park. Animals gather at the river, as elephants, giraffes, bushbucks and hartebeests can often be seen. You might even be able to spot the fringe-eared oryx or the weird-looking gerenuk. Tarangire is also home to buffaloes, zebras and wildebeests which are always closely followed by a range of predators including lions. Your safari vehicle has an open roof and is the ideal viewing platform to appreciate the nature and animals around you. In the late afternoon you will leave the park and travel to the Mto wa Mbu, where you will spend the night. Overnight at Camp / Lodge.

    Day Two (2) Mto wa Mbu to Serengeti National Park

    Today's journey takes you past Lake Manyara into the fertile Ngorongoro highlands. Crossing the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, you will reach the vast open plains of the Serengeti National Park in the early afternoon. The following days are set aside for exploring the famous Serengeti, home to the Big Five – elephant, buffalo, lion, leopard and rhino – and many other animals. You can look forward to many new wildlife sightings and beautiful sceneries during your game drives as no day on safari is the same. You spend the following three nights at the Camp/ Lodge. Depending on the season, you will either stay one night in the central Serengeti and two nights in the northern Serengeti (June – October) or the southern Serengeti (January and March), or you stay all three nights in the central Serengeti (November and December & April and May).

    Day Three (3) - Four (4) Serengeti National Park

    These two days are all about the great Serengeti. Together with your guide, you scout for animals in this pristine corner of the world. You are in no rush and have plenty of time to observe the park's wildlife and learn about animal behavior as well as their social structures. The Serengeti National Park is the third largest park in Tanzania and is stunningly beautiful. While the landscape in the south is characterized by open grassland as far as you can see, open woodlands and hills are predominant in the north and west. Together with the Masai Mara, the Serengeti is host to the Great Migration of millions of wildebeest and zebras, one of the greatest shows on earth. Your home is one of the Kati Kati Tented Camps. In order to increase your chances of witnessing the Great Migration, we choose your route and the order of camps according to your time of travel. Breakfast; Lunch; Dinner Overnight at Lodge or Camp.

    Day Five (5) Serengeti National Park and Ngorongoro Conservation Area

    After breakfast you will continue your safari in the Serengeti National Park. In the Seronera Valley you might be lucky to see predators hunt as animals gather at the waters during the dry season. After lunch at a picnic spot, you will slowly drive in the direction of the amazing Ngorongoro Crater. As soon as you have reached the crater you will have a superb view of the caldera. This approximate 20 km wide crater is part of an UNESCO World Heritage Site and is home to over 20,000 animals. You will stay at the Camp / Lodge Ngorongoro on the crater rim from where you will be able to enjoy an incredible sunset.Overnight at Lodge or Camp. Breakfast; Lunch; Dinner

    Day Six (6): Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha

    Rise and shine! After an early breakfast you will drive down the steep path into the crater. The Ngorongoro Crater is the largest, unbroken and unflooded caldera in the world and it has an unbelievable diversity of wildlife. In addition to zebras and wildebeests, you might also spot the rare black rhino and other members of the Big Five. The crater is also home to other animals such as hyenas, waterbucks, bushbucks, eland and more than 500 bird species. After an extensive game drive and a picnic lunch you will leave the caldera in the afternoon and drive back to Arusha, where you will arrive in the early evening.

    Tanzania Wildebeest Migration-June

    This safari holds amazing sights and attractive sceneries!! Six days in which we explore some of Tanzania's real natural wonders, as we follow the path of the Great Migration in Western Serengeti. By June, this is where we’ll find the concentration of the herd animals as the world's biggest animal movement continues its way clockwise. Of course, Nature and rainfall determine the exact route and timings of the animals movement, so our daily schedule will be adjusted if necessary, to ensure that we see the animals at their very best, at their most numerous. From our starting-point in Arusha, our spectacular adventure takes us first to Tarangire National Park, famous for its large elephant population and its landscape of distinctive baobab trees. Our next destination is the magnificent Central Serengeti, followed by the western section of this most famous park. Thousands of zebra, wildebeest and Cape buffalo gather to cross the Grumeti River, full of crocodiles. Each day will bring something new, all explained to you by your Safaris expert. The Great Migration, the world’s biggest movement of animals, is often the highlight of people's lives, never mind the highlight of their safari! After absorbing all the excitement that Serengeti's wildlife can provide, we change scenery to visit stunning Ngorongoro crater, another incredible but totally different venue for the breathtaking animals of Tanzania. You will take away enough memories to last a lifetime.

    Day One (1): Arusha to Tarangire National Park

    After breakfast in Arusha, we will depart for Tarangire National Park early in the morning. Once we arrive in Tarangire we will begin exploring the enormous termite mounds and the ancient baobab trees. You should know that this park is renowned for its diverse bird species and extensive population of elephants. There are regular sightings of ferocious lions, giraffe, warthogs, ostriches, impalas, cheetah, mongoose, buffaloes, and mischievous baboons. After viewing the wildlife in Tarangire we will continue our journey to our next highlight the Ngorongoro Crater and Close to Lake Manyara. Dinner and Overnight Camp or Lodge

    Day Two (2): Mto wa Mbu - Serengeti National Park

    After breakfast, we collect our lunch boxes, and start our journey which takes us west and north, our exciting destination being a name familiar to everyone – the Serengeti! On the way, the sheer scale of the territory and the raw beauty and awesomeness of the landscapes reveal themselves and your driver-guide will help you to spot animals and birds. This is just a preview of things to come, for the Serengeti is home to what is possibly the world's greatest gathering of wildlife. After enjoying a picnic lunch, you will be eager to pursue some more great wildlife-spotting opportunities in this UNESCO World Heritage Site. Set in the grasslands, savannahs, woods and mountain scenery, which creature will show itself next? These endless plains are home to elephant, Buffalo, lion, leopard, cheetah, hippo and crocodile, the adventure has truly begun. At the evening after all exhausted and exhilarated, it's time to drive you back to your chosen accommodation for dinner and to talk about the many fantastic experiences you’ve had today. overnight at Camp or Lodge.

    Day Three (3): To Western Serengeti National Park

    On this trip-of-a-lifetime, we now have a short drive to reach the great Serengeti's Western Corridor, the park's narrow section through which the Great Migration must pass at this time of the year. This is our focus, as the herds of thousands of zebra and wildebeest gather enough strength to cross the Grumeti River. For them, danger lurks in the form of the Nile crocodiles; for you, safe inn your vehicle, this is a chance to see Nature at its very rawest in this stunning UNESCO World Heritage Site. Animals on the move, animals hunting or being hunted! A varied rich birdlife is present too, as are the Colobus monkeys who inhabit the forests. Each day is different here, unpredictable and full of surprises, but nothing can surpass the Great Migration, that unique natural wonder which involves a cast of breathtaking numbers, literally hundreds of thousands of animals making their annual journey. overnight at Camp or Lodge.

    Day Four (4): To Central Serengeti National Park

    Before leaving the Western Serengeti, we take the opportunity this morning to enjoy another game drive in this incredible location. This allows us further time to wonder at the migratory herds and the dangers and challenges they face each year in their battle for survival. As well as the herd animals, you can perhaps see a hippopotamus or up in the skies, a majestic martial eagle. As well as the migrating animals, this area also has a good population of resident wildlife, so you won’t be disappointed. In the afternoon, we take the short drive back to the central part of Serengeti, where you will be taken to your chosen accommodation for relaxation and your evening meal.overnight at Camp or Lodge.

    Day Five (5): Full game drive in Ngorongoro crater and drive back to Arusha

    Today after breakfast we will drive descending to Ngorongoro crater often referred to as wonder of the world. You will do a game drive break for picnic lunch and late evening ascend from crater and drive to your hotel in Arusha for dinner and overnight. This is World largest caldera fully of grassland, forest and swamp, a setting of jaw-dropping beauty. The permanent water of crater floor supports a resident population of more than 25,000 large mammals. Here you will find many of reason you chose to do Safaris in Tanzania. Lions, Waterbuck, Hippo Baboons, Black Rhino, leopard, Hyena, Jackal, Buffalo, Warthog, Gazelle and many more abundant wildlife are shelter here. Maasai are sharing the awesome space with animals, their cattle in an area which has been a separate conservation area since 1956 and a UNESCO World Heritage site since 1978. This harmonious co-habitation of Man and beast makes Ngorongoro unique in the world. After late afternoon drive back to Arusha.
