Day 1: Arusha to Ndutu, Southern Serengeti | Tanzania Leopard Safari

After breakfast in Arusha, meet your Africa Natural Tours guide and travel toward the Ndutu area of the southern Serengeti ecosystem, either by road or by a pre-arranged domestic flight when included in your package. On arrival, begin your first game drive across the short-grass plains and seasonal wildlife areas. During the calving season, large numbers of wildebeest may gather here with zebras, gazelles and resident wildlife, creating excellent opportunities to observe predators such as lions, cheetahs, hyenas and, with luck, elusive leopards. Your guide will follow current wildlife movement and explain the ecology of the Ndutu region before taking you to your camp or lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Ndutu to Central Serengeti, Seronera | Leopard Wildlife Safari

Start with an early morning game drive in the Ndutu area, when predator activity can be especially rewarding. After continuing your wildlife viewing, travel toward Central Serengeti and the Seronera region, one of the park's most productive year-round game-viewing areas. The Seronera Valley supports lions, elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, hippos, hyenas and many other species, while rocky kopjes and riverine habitats can provide suitable areas for leopard sightings. Continue your guided game drive into the afternoon before arriving at your camp or lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Central Serengeti to Ngorongoro | Tanzania Leopard Safari

Begin the day with another guided game drive in Central Serengeti. Your local expert guide will use tracks, recent sightings and habitat knowledge to search for predators and other wildlife across the savannah, kopjes and river systems. After the morning wildlife experience, continue toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, enjoying additional game viewing along the route. Arrive near the crater rim or surrounding highlands in time for dinner and overnight, ready for an early descent into Ngorongoro Crater the following morning.

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha | Tanzania Leopard Safari

After an early breakfast, descend into Ngorongoro Crater for a final guided game drive. The crater floor supports an exceptional concentration of wildlife, including lions, elephants, buffaloes, wildebeest, zebras, hippos, hyenas and, with luck, black rhinos. Leopards may occasionally be encountered in suitable habitat, although they remain secretive and no sighting should be guaranteed. Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the crater while your guide continues to interpret animal behaviour and the unique caldera ecosystem.

After lunch, continue the game drive before ascending the crater rim and beginning the return journey to Arusha.
