The 13 Days Uganda Kidepo and Gorilla Safaris is an extensive tour that offers an immersive experience into Uganda’s diverse wildlife and primates. After breakfast you will prepare to start the trip, you will drive towards Mbale town. Along the way, pass through Jinja town, and take some short tour in Jinja town. And you will have warm lunch break along the way. Plus, a chance to see the top of mountain elgon.Accommodation: Mbale Resort Hotel (Dinner and Breakfast)
After morning breakfast, you will depart Mbale and drive to Kidepo valley national park. Accommodation: Apoka Safari Lodge (Full Board meals)
Enjoy breakfast and go for a day break game drive to Kanangorok hot spring. A number of animals can be seen wandering around as well as birds like the Ostriches. Get back to the lodge for lunch, embark to an evening game drive. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight. Meal Plan: Full board.Accommodation: Apoka Safari Lodge (Full Board meals)
Breakfast and drive to Gulu Town and have warm lunch break. After your lunch proceed to Murchison falls national park. Enjoy the beautiful scenery as you travel to the world’s powerful waterfall.Accommodation: Sambiya River Lodge (Full board Meals)
You will wake up very early for breakfast, and embark on a morning game drive; this gives a chance to see morning risers in search for food. Animals like, Elephants, water bucks, lions, hippos etc.Later after lunch, you will go for boat cruise, this will give you a chance to see many species of birds like king fisher, skimmers, Egyptian duck, bee eater, fly catcher, African fish eagles. etc. Accommodation:Sambiya River Lodge (Full board Meals)
After a healthy breakfast, you will be transferred to Kibale forest National Park, the capital world of primates. Like chimpanzee, baboons and monkeys. You will have a stopover for warm lunch. Accommodation:Kibale Forest Camp-Cottages (Full board Meals)
The park’s site guide will take you through this adventurous experience where you may be blessed with enormous encounters of various forest primates like the black faced colobus monkeys, baboons and other forest species. Later, you will be transferred to Queen Elizabeth National park. Upon arrival, you will check in at your lodge for dinner and peaceful overnight.Accommodation: Enganzi Lodge (Full board Meals)
At the park, you shall enjoy a game drive towards the Kasenyi plains which may reward you with sightings of the various animals like huge herds of the Ugandan kob, elephants, leopard, lion, buffalos, warthogs and antelope etc. Later after lunch, you will embark on a boat cruise on Kaziga channel.This is very rewarding with the aquatic animals like crocodiles, hippos and many bird species like black bee carmine bee eaters and black bee eaters, Lesser Swamp-Warbler, Striated Heron among others. You will wake up early morning and have breakfast, then drive to Ishasha sector, this is also part of Queen Elizabeth national park where tree climbing lions are more concentrated. You will have warm lunch at one of the lodges in Ishasha sector, during game viewing. Later you will drive out through ishasha gate heading to Bwindi forest- the home of gorillas.Accommodation: Silver Back Lodge (Full board Meals)
After morning breakfast, you will get ready, along with your packed lunches to embark on the lifetime memorable experience in this magnificent forest for gorilla tracking. The trail you use may reward you with exciting moments of the giant mountain gorillas ‘this will be a reward of the ultimate gorilla experience’ as well as other primates that inhabit the forest. This may take you about 4-5 hrs. in the jungle. You will return to the lodge for dinner and peaceful overnight at the lodge.Accommodation: Silver Back Lodge (Full board Meals)
After a healthy breakfast, you will embark on the journey to Lake Mburo national park. Arrive in the evening, with an evening game viewing. And check in at the hotel in the park. Accommodation:Rwakobo Rock Hotel (Half Board Meals)
You will wake up and have morning breakfast, then enjoy an outgoing game drive; this will give you a chance to see wild life animals like Zebras, antelopes among others.
