This 5 days safari involves exploring some parts in Western Uganda where you will visit Kibale National Park which is one of Africa’s greatest rain forests and home to 13 primates; over 100 individuals of Chimpanzees and other species of primates including the Black and white colobus monkeys, 60 species of mammals as well as over 325 species of birds, Also you will continue to Queen Elizabeth National park located 376km away from Kampala and named after the Queen of England, it is home to a lot of wildlife species such as over 500 species of birds, 10 primates, 95 mammal species, climbing lions can also be seen in Ishasha sector, basically the park is a great place with stunning landscape crossed by the Kazinga channel.

Day 1: Kampala-Kibale National Park

On this day after your breakfast, the guide will meet you at your residence/hotel, briefs you and later embark on the approximately 4 hours and 30minutes journey by 7:00 am to Kibale National Park. You will see great sightings of traditional villages and landscapes. Along the way as you will by welcomed by different amazing animals like the baboons, monkeys. Upon arrival continue and visit the attractive crater lakes area, after that, drive to the lodge and check in. Relax there in the evening, have dinner and spend an overnight. Day 2: Chimpanzee tracking & visit to Bigodi Wetland-Kibale national park

After having breakfast, transfer to the headquarters of the park where you will be briefed and by 8:00am the search of the amazing chimpanzees begins. As you track them you will have an opportunity to see other wildlife species such as the golden monkeys, the grey cheeked mangabey, L’Hoest’s’ monkeys, birds like; the green breasted pitta. It will surely be a great time when you meet the chimpanzees as you will be in line to see the males guarding their territories, the young ones playing, and feeding. Later return to the lodge for lunch and in the afternoon visit Bigodi wetland which is home to a number of birds like the Great blue turaco, some primates and also various communities live around. Day 3: Leave Kibale to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Have your breakfast and leave Kibale for Queen Elizabeth National Park. On your way you will pass via Fortportal town, you will have great sights of the Rwenzori ranges and the local people that do their day-to-day activities near the road. Enjoy lunch along the way and proceed to the park which is bordered by Lakes; Edward and George that are also separated by the Kazinga channel which passes through the park. A big number of animals will be seen such as the topis, lions, buffaloes, antelopes, waterbucks, giant forest hogs, birds among others. During the afternoon you will have a great time on a game drive through the park where you will be introduced to the incredible and stunning views of the park and some ranges of Mountain Rwenzori.

Day 4: Morning game drive & a boat cruise

On this beautiful day you will be required to wake up so early since you will be going for a game drive so that you could see the morning risers in the Kasenyi track such as elephants, buffaloes, antelopes, lions, in fact you will be able to see them closely. After go back to the lodge; have breakfast and later lunch as you get ready for the launch/boat cruise on Kazinga channel. While on the boat your eyes will be nourished with amazing animal water species such as crocodiles, buffaloes, hippos and also birds like the malachite kingfishers. Day 5: Departure-visit Lake Katwe and crater lakes region

After an early breakfast, set out to visit Lake Katwe; it is a Salt Lake and also you can’t miss out on the crater lakes region.     5 Days Private Tour ofKibale And Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

    Tour Overview

Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is found in the South-western part of Uganda on the edge of the Albertine rift valley. The National Park is obscured with a gigantic miscellaneous impenetrable rainforest that comprehends over 400 species of plants. The National park is faddish for being home to approximate half of the world’s susceptible Mountain Gorillas.
    It also has 350 bird species, 200 butterfly species, 27 frog species, and 120 mammals such as baboons, chimpanzees, and more than 30 elephants which make Bwindi a world heritage site.     Day 1: Entebbe/Kampala to Bwindi Impenetrable forests

    After sunrise Breakfast, we begin our road trip to Bwindi arriving to Lake Bunyonyi in the eastern side of this amazing forest of Bwindi Impenetrable forest, a home to the preculia Mountain Gorillas. Road trip stop overs should be expected during the trip especially in places of interest like the Equator mark at Kayabwe, Mbarara town, Kagezi hills and many beautiful types of scenery.

    Day 2: Gorilla Trekking

    After breakfast inaugurate on the hindmost Mountain Gorilla experience as the guide drives the guests to the Uganda Wildlife Authority point where permanenting about trekking these endangered species is done. After you will be apportioned in groups with an experienced game ranger as a ‘head trekker’ for safety and guidance. The process goes between 1 to 8 hours reckoning on how providential you are tracking the gorillas.     Day 3: Transfer to Kibale Forest

    Take a guided walk in the forest (Bwindi Impenetrable Forest). Visit local villages, schools, hospitals, or clinic centers and learn about the amazing ways of life of the local community. Visit Bwindi Community hospital that provides vital medical and educational services to more than 6500 members of the community, and where donations of any kind to help the community are appreciated by community leaders. Touring the local tea processing corporation that is the community job platform from where the locals earn a living is also a very rewarding experience. This walk is also the surest way of experiencing the amazing cultures and traditions, plus interacting with the Batwa and pygmy communities inhabiting the area.

    Day 4: Chimpanzee trekking in Kibale National Park

    After Breakfast, drive to the Uganda Wildlife Authority headquarters for briefing before conjugating a group headed by an experienced game ranger or guide who is to be your head for the trekking activity in the Kibale Forest. Keep in mind Chimpanzees live in groups of between 50-150 individuals and during day, they break up into small groups to attenuate contention on their resources and they regroup in the evening as they build their nests.     Day 1: Depart for Bwindi National Park

Travel through the ‘Switzerland of Uganda’ with rolling green hills through the highlands, with views of the Virunga volcanoes of Rwanda and the Congo, reaching Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, home to the rare mountain gorillas in the late afternoon.     Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Forest

    Full days exploration in the park, tracking gorillas, for this park of tracking is that you needed to be in a good health. You will have a brief before you begin the walking safaris. You will trek through thick creepers and undergrowth with your guides to find the gorillas, which trek can take from half an hour to 9 hours.     Day 4: -Chimpanzee Tracking in Kibale Forest

    After breakfast, apart from chimpanzees, over 13 species of primates including red tailed and grey cheek Mangabey, birds and other primates. Have a wonderful experience viewing other mammals including smaller elephants, giant forest hog, buffalo, and antelope species. The guide will provide detailed explanations on flora and Fauna to ensure that your walk is both enjoyable and informative. Overnight at Camp/Lodge.
