Day 1: Machame Gate to Machame Camp

The hike begins at Machame Gate, traversing the lush rainforest of Mt. Kilimanjaro. Enjoy the mesmerizing flora and fauna as you ascend to Machame Camp at 3,000m. Weather permitting, catch your first glimpse of Kibo’s glaciated dome.

Day 2: Machame Camp to Shira Camp

Day 3: Shira Camp to Lava Tower to Barranco Valley

Trek on a gentle ascent with panoramic views, passing under Lava Tower and descending to the scenic Barranco Valley.

Day 4: Barranco Camp to Barafu Camp

• Climatic Condition: Alpine Desert
Ascend the Barranco Wall to Karanga Valley, then proceed to Barafu Camp via the Mweka Trail junction. Enjoy magnificent summit views and prepare for the summit push.

Day 5: Barafu Camp to Summit, Down to Mweka Camp

• Distance: 5km ascent / 12km descent

Begin the summit climb at midnight. Reach Stella Point for a sunrise view (weather permitting), then proceed to Uhuru Peak. Descend to Mweka Camp for rest.

Day 6: Mweka Camp to Mweka Gate, Drive to Arusha or Moshi

Descend to Mweka Gate, receive your summit certificate, and drive back to Moshi or Arusha.

Day 7: Arusha/Moshi to Tarangire

Depart at 6:00 AM for Tarangire National Park, known for its large elephant herds and iconic baobab trees. Enjoy a game drive and the park’s authentic safari experience.

Day 8: Mto wa Mbu to Serengeti

Travel to Serengeti National Park via Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Enjoy a leisurely game drive and the golden savannah landscapes, spending the night in Serengeti.

Day 9: Central Serengeti National Park

Explore the Seronera area with a full-day game drive, featuring the richest wildlife habitats and lion prides. Return to your lodge for dinner and rest.
