Rongai Gate to Simba Camp
After breakfast, transfer toward Rongai Gate on the northern side of Mount Kilimanjaro. Complete the required registration before meeting your mountain guide and joining the trekking group. Begin the climb through the lower forest zone, gradually gaining altitude as you follow the Rongai trail. Trek at a comfortable group pace with regular breaks while enjoying the surrounding forest and mountain scenery. Continue toward Simba Camp, where you will have dinner and spend the night.

Simba Camp to Kikelelwa Camp
After breakfast, continue your trek from Simba Camp toward Kikelelwa Camp. The trail gradually moves away from the forest and into more open moorland, with changing vegetation and wider views across the northern slopes of Kilimanjaro. Trek steadily with your group and guide while allowing your body time to adjust to the increasing altitude. Enjoy the mountain scenery along the route before arriving at Kikelelwa Camp for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, begin the ascent from Kikelelwa Camp toward Mawenzi Tarn Huts. Mawenzi Tarn Huts to Kibo Hut
After breakfast, leave Mawenzi Tarn Huts and continue toward Kibo Hut. The trail crosses the high-altitude desert between Mawenzi and Kibo, where vegetation becomes increasingly sparse and the terrain more rocky. Continue slowly with your guide as you gain altitude. Upon reaching Kibo Hut, have your evening meal and prepare your clothing, water and personal equipment for the summit attempt. Rest early because the summit climb begins during the night.

Kibo Hut to Uhuru Peak to Horombo Hut
Wake around midnight and begin the summit attempt with your group and mountain guide. Trek slowly through the rocky upper slopes toward the crater rim, continuing toward Uhuru Peak at 5,895 metres, the highest point on Mount Kilimanjaro and the highest point in Africa.
After reaching the summit, take time for photographs and enjoy the surrounding views, depending on weather and mountain conditions. Begin the descent toward Kibo Hut for a short rest before continuing down to Horombo Hut. The descent allows you to gradually lose altitude after the summit attempt. Dinner and overnight at Horombo Hut.
