After breakfast, transfer toward Rongai Gate and complete the required park registration. Meet your experienced mountain guide and support crew before beginning the trek with your group. Walk through the lower forest zone at a comfortable pace while gradually gaining altitude. Continue toward Simba Camp, where you will have dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, continue from Simba Camp toward Kikelelwa Camp. The trail gradually transitions from forest into open moorland. After breakfast, cross the alpine desert between Mawenzi and Kibo as you continue toward Kibo Hut. The vegetation becomes increasingly sparse and the terrain more rocky. Maintain a controlled pace while gaining altitude. Upon reaching Kibo Hut, have your evening meal and prepare for the summit attempt. Rest early before beginning the night climb.

Kibo Hut to Uhuru Peak to Horombo Hut
Wake around midnight and begin the summit ascent with your group and mountain guide. Trek slowly through the rocky upper slopes toward the crater rim before continuing toward Uhuru Peak at 5,895 metres. After reaching the summit, take photographs and enjoy the achievement, subject to weather and mountain conditions. Begin your descent toward Kibo Hut for a short rest before continuing to Horombo Hut. Dinner and overnight at Horombo Hut.
