Horombo Hut to Kibo Hut
After breakfast, begin the trek from Horombo Hut towards Kibo Hut, crossing the scenic alpine desert known as the Saddle between Mawenzi and Kibo peaks. Arrive at Kibo Hut in the afternoon, where you will have an early dinner and rest in preparation for the summit attempt during the night.
