Simba Camp to Kikelelwa Camp

After breakfast, continue you\'re private trek from Simba Camp toward Kikelelwa Camp. The trail gradually moves from the forest into more open moorland, with changing vegetation and wider views across the mountain landscape. Trek steadily while allowing you\'re body time to adjust to the increasing altitude. You\'re guide will manage the pace and breaks according to the group’s progress. Arrive at Kikelelwa Camp for dinner and overnight.

Kikelelwa Camp to Mawenzi Tarn Huts

After breakfast, begin the ascent from Kikelelwa Camp toward Mawenzi Tarn Huts. The landscape becomes more rugged as you continue through the alpine moorland zone, with impressive views toward Mawenzi Peak. Maintain a steady pace with you\'re private guide while taking regular breaks and enjoying the mountain scenery. Arrive at Mawenzi Tarn Huts, settle into camp, enjoy dinner and rest overnight.

Mawenzi Tarn Huts to Kibo Hut

After breakfast, leave Mawenzi Tarn Huts and continue toward Kibo Hut. The trail crosses the high-altitude desert between Mawenzi and Kibo, where vegetation becomes increasingly sparse and the terrain more rocky. Continue slowly with you\'re private guide as you gain altitude. Upon reaching Kibo Hut, have you\'re evening meal and prepare you\'re clothing, water and personal equipment for the summit attempt. Rest early because the summit climb begins during the night.

Kibo Hut to Uhuru Peak to Horombo Hut

Wake around midnight and begin the summit attempt with you\'re private mountain guide. Trek slowly through the rocky upper slopes toward the crater rim before continuing toward Uhuru Peak at 5,895 metres, the highest point on Mount Kilimanjaro and the highest point in Africa.

After reaching the summit, take time for photographs and enjoy the surrounding mountain views, subject to weather and trail conditions. Begin the descent toward Kibo Hut for a short rest before continuing to Horombo Hut. The descent allows you to gradually lose altitude after the summit attempt. Dinner and overnight at Horombo Hut.

Horombo Hut to Marangu Gate to Moshi

After breakfast, begin you\'re final descent from Horombo Hut toward Marangu Gate. The trail passes through changing vegetation as you move from the higher alpine environment toward the lower slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro. Enjoy the scenery along the descent while reflecting on you\'re summit experience. Continue trekking until you reach Marangu Gate, where you complete the necessary exit procedures. Meet you\'re private transfer vehicle and continue to Moshi.
