Full-Day Wildlife Safari in Queen Elizabeth National Park

After breakfast, set out for a full day of guided game drives in Queen Elizabeth National Park. Explore different wildlife areas while searching for elephants, buffaloes, lions, leopards, hippos, Uganda kobs, warthogs and other species. The park's varied habitats support a wide range of wildlife, while the Kazinga Channel is a major attraction for viewing hippos, elephants, buffaloes, crocodiles and waterbirds. After breakfast, leave Queen Elizabeth National Park and continue toward Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Travel through the scenic hills and rural landscapes of southwestern Uganda. Continue toward the appropriate gorilla trekking sector and arrive at your budget accommodation. Because Bwindi has several geographically separated trekking sectors, the lodge location is selected according to the gorilla permit and confirmed trekking sector. Spend the evening relaxing and preparing for the following day's gorilla trekking experience.

Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

After an early breakfast, transfer to the designated gorilla trekking meeting point for registration and briefing. Join your group and begin the trek through Bwindi's dense rainforest in search of a habituated mountain gorilla family. Gorilla trekking in Uganda takes place in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and Mgahinga Gorilla National Park. UWA notes that treks can take approximately 2 to 7 hours, depending on the location and movement of the gorilla family, with a permitted observation period once the group is located. Trek through the forest with official guides and trackers while observing the surrounding vegetation, birds and other forest life. Once the gorillas are located, enjoy the permitted viewing experience and take photographs according to park regulations. After completing the trek, return to your accommodation for lunch and relaxation. Enjoy dinner and overnight.

Bwindi Impenetrable National Park to Lake Mburo National Park

After breakfast, depart from Bwindi and travel toward Lake Mburo National Park. Enjoy the scenic journey through the rolling landscapes and rural communities of southwestern Uganda. Upon arrival in the Lake Mburo area, check in to your budget lodge or tented camp. Depending on the arrival time and confirmed schedule, enjoy a short game drive, nature activity or boat cruise, subject to availability and park conditions. After breakfast, enjoy a final morning wildlife activity around Lake Mburo. Explore the area while looking for species such as zebra, impala, buffaloes, eland and other wildlife. Lake Mburo is particularly known for species including impala and zebra.nAfter the activity, meet your shared safari group and begin the journey back to Kampala. Travel through Uganda's countryside, with suitable rest and lunch stops along the way.
