Your private Kilimanjaro adventure begins with a morning pickup from your hotel in Arusha. After breakfast, you will drive toward Machame Gate, where you will complete registration and park entry formalities. The trek then begins through the lush rainforest of Mount Kilimanjaro, with opportunities to enjoy the rich vegetation and beautiful surroundings. After several hours of trekking, you will arrive at Machame Camp, where you will have dinner and spend your first night on the mountain.

After breakfast, you will continue climbing from Machame Camp toward the spectacular Shira Plateau. The trail becomes steeper but rewarding as you gradually gain altitude. After several hours of trekking, you will arrive at Shira Cave Camp, where you will enjoy dinner, rest and acclimatize to the higher elevation.

Shira Cave Camp – Lava Tower – Barranco Camp
Today is an important acclimatization day as you trek from Shira Cave Camp toward Lava Tower before descending to Barranco Camp. You will gradually climb through the alpine desert landscape until reaching Lava Tower at approximately 4,630 metres. After a lunch break, you will descend toward the beautiful Barranco Valley. This "climb high, sleep low" approach helps your body adjust to the altitude. You will arrive at Barranco Camp in the afternoon, with the impressive Barranco Wall providing a spectacular backdrop.

Day 7: Mweka Camp – Mweka Gate – Arusha
After breakfast, you will begin your final descent through the lush rainforest toward Mweka Gate.
