Day 1: Arusha – Londorossi Gate – Lemosho Gate – Mti Mkubwa Camp

Your Mount Kilimanjaro adventure begins with an early morning pickup from your hotel in Arusha. After meeting your professional mountain guide and fellow group members, you will drive toward the western side of Mount Kilimanjaro. Upon arrival at Londorossi Gate, you will complete the necessary park registration and entry formalities before continuing to Lemosho Gate, where the trek officially begins. From the trailhead, you will walk through the beautiful montane rainforest, surrounded by lush vegetation and the peaceful sounds of nature. The trek continues at a relaxed pace toward Mti Mkubwa Camp, where you will meet the support crew and settle in for your first night on the mountain. Dinner will be served at camp, followed by an overnight stay in tents.

Day 3: Shira 1 Camp to Shira 2 Camp

Today is a relatively gentle trekking day across the spectacular Shira Plateau. After breakfast, you will continue toward Shira 2 Camp, walking through an alpine landscape characterized by volcanic formations, unique vegetation and expansive views of Kibo Peak. The gradual nature of today's trek allows your body to continue adapting to the increasing altitude. Upon reaching Shira 2 Camp, you will have plenty of time to relax and enjoy the mountain scenery. Depending on weather and group conditions, your guide may arrange a short acclimatization walk around the camp before dinner and an overnight stay.

The trail becomes increasingly rocky and barren as you enter the high-altitude zone. Upon arrival at Barafu Camp, you will have an early dinner and receive a detailed summit briefing from your guides. You will then rest for a few hours because the summit attempt will begin around midnight.

Day 6: Barafu Camp – Uhuru Peak – Mweka Camp

Your summit day begins shortly after midnight. After a light breakfast and final equipment check, you will start the slow ascent toward Uhuru Peak under the African night sky. The group will climb gradually toward Stella Point on the crater rim, taking regular breaks to conserve energy and maintain a steady pace. From Stella Point, you will continue along the crater rim toward Uhuru Peak at 5,895 metres, the highest point in Africa. Reaching the summit is the ultimate achievement of your Kilimanjaro adventure, and you will have time to celebrate, take photographs and enjoy the breathtaking views from the Roof of Africa. After the summit experience, you will begin the descent toward Barafu Camp for a short rest before continuing down the Mweka Route to Mweka Camp. After this long and demanding day, you will enjoy dinner and spend your final night on the mountain.
